Our Values

  • 1
    JESUS

It’s all about Jesus. In Him we live and breathe and have our being. There is nothing that is important, aside from Jesus. We are committed to pursuing intimacy with Him that He may be glorified.

  • 2
    EVANGELISM

God so loved the world that He gave us His only Son. God longs to be in relationship with His creation.

As His people we are called to show love to a broken world, interact and respond with grace to those who are around us, reveal the hope that is in our risen Savior, and stand for the truth of God’s justice and mercy for all who are oppressed.

Because we also, were once aliens and enemies of Christ, yet He welcomed us into His body, we strive to be a welcoming church that can show the way home, and provide a place of rest for the weary.

  • 3
    LORDSHIP

Our desire is that Christ would be preeminent in all things. (Col. 1:18) It is in our submission to Christ that our lives are transformed.

    Holiness unto the Lord -
We are by nature a broken people. Hope is found in Christ as our standard. All that we are and have, our possessions, identity, values et al, are to be brought into submission and dedication to Jesus and measured by His standards of grace and truth rather than worldly standards.

Following in the example of Christ’s humility – Our salvation ultimately lies in our adherence to Christ and His cross. It is when our old self is crucified that we are freed from self and sin. (Romans 6:6-7)

  • 4
    THE HOLY SPIRIT
It is solely through the Holy Spirit that we are regenerated, not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us. (Titus 3:5,6) He convicts of sin, guides us in our daily walk, comforts in time of trial, and empowers us for ministry. We believe the Holy Spirit is not only active in today’s world, but is essential in understanding the word of God (John 14:21) and in our daily spiritual walk. (Galatians 5:26)
  • 5
    COMMUNITY AND FAMILY

Belonging to a biblical community is essential for the spiritual growth of every follower of Christ. The early church devoted themselves to the Apostles teaching, fellowship, the breaking of bread, and to prayer. As a group of diverse believers, when we gather in one body to celebrate our one hope, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and the one God and Father, we are giving expression to the amazingness of the Body of Christ.

God ordained the family, and we seek to provide worship services where families can worship together. We believe strong families living out the covenants and promises in Christ build strong communities.

    ONE CHRISTIAN CHURCH

We believe in and support that there is one catholic church that is the body of Christ. Throughout the ages, Jesus has been preparing this church in all its diversity to be united with Him.

While we operate independently, through prayer and the resources provided by the Lord, we support and confirm the mission of the church, and partner with the local church community.

  • 7
    THE LORD'S SUPPER

We believe that it is significant for us as a body to participate in remembering our Lord and His covenant with His body on a weekly basis in this age, until the return of our Lord Jesus Christ.
